Wesley Cox is a Junior Consultant at VVA Economics & Policy.
Throughout his studies and previous experiences in both the private and public sector, he gained expertise in a range of fields, including international business (sales, marketing and branding), corporate governance, energy and automotive policies. At VVA he joined the market team and is involved in projects related to European space, customs union and trade. He has been involved in desk research, data collection and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Before joining VVA, Wesley completed traineeships at the European Commission (DG Grow), the European Energy Regulator ACER and the Embassy of Spain in Berlin, allowing him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the functioning of the European Union through concrete actions.
Wesley has cross-cultural experience gained through studying and working in 5 European Member States. He holds a master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations specialising in EU Studies from the Diplomatic School of Spain and a double degree in international Business Administration and Management from the Universitat de València and the Hochschule Bremen.
Wesley is a native speaker of Dutch and Spanish, is fluent in English and German, is currently improving his French.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, gardening, sport and travelling.
