Tara Goerder is a Research Analyst at VVA Economics and Policy.
Tara has a thorough and proven knowledge of EU policies and expertise in a wide range of policy areas including the EU’s foreign, defence and environmental policy.
Tara conducts research, analyses, evaluations as well as risk and impact assessments. In her previous role as an Assistant Analyst at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies, Tara carried out several studies in the context of advising the Dutch government, including projects on geopolitical developments and corresponding strategies as well as circular economy approaches. Her expertise and interests also lie in international law, international security and terrorism.
Tara graduated cum laude from the University of Leiden in her Master’s degree in Crisis and Security Management (MSc). Before this, she obtained a Bachelor in International Relations in Germany.
Tara speaks German, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
