
Melissa is a Business Development Officer at VVA Economics & Policy. Her duties range widely from supporting tasks related managing the daily operations of the office (office supplies, travel booking and conference registration for internal and external staff, accountancy-related filings) to assisting with the tendering process for EU projects.
Melissa holds a master’s degree in Sociology with a specialization in International Conflict Studies, achieved in Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). In addition, she has completed a postgraduate-level advanced diploma in Immigration and Asylum law at The Honorable Society of King’s Inns, the institution which controls the entry of barristers-at-law into the justice system of Ireland.
After graduation in spring 2018 she joined Accenture Dublin as a Subject Matter Expert on-site client, a renown international IT giant, specialising in their internal Trust & Safety and sensitive content policies.
She joined VVA Brussels in January 2019 after relocating from Dublin to Brussels. She speaks fluent Finnish and English, intermediate Russian and is currently in the process of learning French.
On her free time Melissa likes to cook, read and dance.
