
Magdalena Klebba is a Senior Research Manager at VVA Economics and Policy.
Magdalena has a thorough and proven knowledge of EU policies and politics in a wide range of areas including environmental law, energy and climate policies and development cooperation aid. Her expertise relates in particular to legal analyses as well as projects involving data collection and analysis on Poland and France. At VVA her research focuses particular on energy field.
Before joining VVA in Brussels, she worked at the French Ministry of Environment and the Polish Representation to the OECD. Both provided her with experience of analysis, assessment and development of existing water and environmental policies, as well as of the multilateral development cooperation aid policies. She has valuable experience in research and benchmarking in public administration.
She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from Paris Sud University, and a Master’s degree in European Union International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe. Her previous research includes one Master’s thesis on the Paris Agreement and its future implementation, and another on the Polish implementation of the Water Framework Directive. Besides, she speaks fluent Polish, French and English.
In her free time, Magdalena enjoys running, travelling, hiking and reading.
