Lukas Alijošius is a Researcher at VVA Economics and Policy.
Lukas has a thorough and proven knowledge and expertise in a wide range of EU policy areas including single market, digital economy, consumer policy, circular economy and economic and social cohesion.
Lukas has experience in collecting data via desk research, interviews, surveys and focus groups. His expertise lies in analysing quantitative and qualitative data, in particular, collecting, analysing and structuring data related to economic and financial research.
In his previous roles, as a Blue Book Trainee in DG ECFIN of the European Commission and as a Research Assistant in the Center for Excellence in Finance and Economic Research (CEFER) of Bank of Lithuania, Lukas carried out tasks that focused on research and administrative support.
Lukas has Master’s degree in European studies from Vilnius University and Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from University of Essex. Apart from his native Lithuanian, Lukas speaks fluent English and has a good command of French.
In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching basketball and chess.
