
Luca is a Senior Research Manager at VVA Economics and Policy.
Throughout his studies and professional experience, Luca has acquired thorough and comprehensive knowledge of EU policies and expertise in a wide range of areas including Cohesion and Regional policy, digitalisation and innovation, and Structural Reforms. His expertise relates in particular to impact assessment, ex post and ex ante evaluation, Cost-Benefit Analysis of infrastructural projects, data collection and analysis (i.e. desk research, face-to-face interview, on-line surveys) and technical assistance (tutoring and lecturing).
Before joining VVA, Luca worked as Researcher at the Centre of Industrial Studies (CSIL), a consultancy and research firm based in Milan, where he was involved in several studies and evaluations mainly in the field of Cohesion and Regional policy. Prior to this, Luca carried out a traineeship in the Institutional Relations Department at Milan’s Chamber of Commerce as well as an internship in the Italian Embassy to Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's degree in Political Science with a major in European Integration from the University of Milan. During his university career, Luca had studied in Madrid (Universidad Complutense) and in Paris (Université Paris Dauphine). He also holds a post-university degree from the Italian Institute of International Political Studies.
Luca is a native speaker of Italian, fluent in English and French and has good knowledge of Spanish.
In his free time, Luca enjoys travelling, sports, history and literature.
