
Davide is a Researcher at VVA Economics and Policy.
Throughout his professional and academic life, he gained expertise in a range of policy areas, including economic governance, social and employment policy, and international trade policy. In terms of methodology, he is involved in desk research, data collection and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Before joining VVA, Davide was a Schuman trainee at the Policy Department of the European Parliament. In this capacity, he provided background research, impact evaluation and policy advice to parliamentary bodies in the field of international trade and related areas. Previously, he was a research intern at IAI, an Italian think tank, focusing on EU and international economic governance, social and employment policy, and digital innovation.
Davide holds a double MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in political and social sciences from the University of Bologna, having completed study and research programs at UCLA and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Davide is a native Italian speaker and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
In his free time, Davide loves exploring new places, playing basketball and football and tasting traditional food and wines.
