Camille Guey is a Research Manager at VVA Economics & Policy
Camille has a thorough and proven knowledge of EU policies, including in a wide range of policy areas such as EU external action, EU security and defence, structural reforms, social policies, education and training, as well as labour policies.
Camille has several years of experience working as a policy analyst and researcher for the European institutions, bodies and agencies. She has collected qualitative and quantitative data via desk research and literature reviews, interviews, surveys, focus groups and workshops. Camille has extensive experience in data collection and analysis and in designing analytical frameworks. She has supported and led several evaluations and other related types of studies for the European Commission. Recent relevant projects that she has been involved in include, amongst others, two studies for DG REFORM (Towards a strategy taking VET to a new level in Luxembourg and Reform of counselling services in Greece) and a study for DG EMPL (Study on social services with particular focus on personal targeted social services for people in vulnerable situations).
Previously, Camille worked for the EU account of Ernst & Young (EY). Camille also held several positions in the field of EU external action and EU security and defence as a researcher and policy analyst, including for the EU office of the French Ministry of Defence, for Amarante International and for the Policy department of the European Parliament.
Camille holds a double Master in European studies and international relations from Sciences Po Lille and Aston University. Camille is a native French speaker, she speaks English fluently, she has a good understanding of Spanish and is currently learning Dutch.
