
Alessandra Innesti is a Research Manager at VVA Economics & Policy.
Alessandra has experience in EU law and project management. She has conducted and coordinated various studies for the European Commission (e.g. DG GROW, DG CONNECT) and the European Parliament (e.g. IMCO Committee, LIBE Committee) Her expertise relates in particular to legal studies involving cross-border legal data collection and analysis, and evaluation projects.
Before joining VVA, she gained relevant professional experience in conducting and managing EU legal research and analysis, working as a legal consultant at the London office of a European legal consultancy firm (Spark Legal Network). Prior to this, she worked in a not for profit organisation in Rome on multiple projects in the area of employment, disability and equality at work.
Alessandra holds a PhD in Human Capital Formation and Employee Relations from the University of Bergamo. During her PhD, she spent a semester as a visiting researcher at Middlesex University in London. Furthermore, she obtained a Master’s degree in International and European Union Law and a Bachelor of Law both from the University of Pisa.
Her native language is Italian, she speaks fluent English and has a basic understanding of French.
