Olha Koshchiyenko

Olha Koshchiyenko is a Senior Research Manager at VVA Economics & Policy.

 

Olha is an economist and a public policy professional with eight years of experience in research, reporting, EU policy evaluation and analysis. Olha’s main areas of expertise lie in the fields of social policies, labour market policy, labour migration and integration, communication, education and culture.

 

Olha possesses advanced skills in statistical data analysis (Stata and SPSS), survey design, focus group design, interviewing, participant observation and information gathering through desk research.

 

Prior to joining the VVA team, Olha conducted EU policy research and analysis with PPMI in Vilnius. She has also spent several years with KPMG in Budapest, where she acquired extensive experience in multi-language research, investigation and risk assessment. Olha has also got in- house experience with the European institutions, both in Brussels (DG HOME of the European Commission) and in the field (the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine in Odessa, Ukraine).

 

Olha holds an MA degree in International Relations from Central European University in Budapest and an MA degree in Economics from the College of Europe in Bruges.

 

Apart from her native Ukrainian and Russian, Olha is fluent in English, German, Polish and Italian and has an intermediate knowledge of Hungarian and French.
