Ivan Bosch Chen is a Consultant at VVA Economics and Policy.
Ivan has a thorough and proven knowledge of EU policies and expertise in a wide range of policy areas including internal market, industrial policy, economic and financial affairs, regional policy, and employment and social policy. Ivan has been involved in several evaluations, impact assessments and other studies for clients including DG REGIO, DG GROW, DG ECFIN, CoR, and EEA/Norway grants, as well as several national governments. His expertise lies in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis for policy evaluation.
In his previous role, Ivan was a consultant at CSES where he led several studies for the EP’s CONT committee including one on “The Impact of Organised Crime on the EU’s Financial Interests” and one on “Possible Solutions to Missing Trader Intra-Community Fraud”. Before this, Ivan was a trainee at the European Economic and Social Committee where he worked at the Economic and Monetary Union and Economic and Social Cohesion section (ECO). He was also previously an intern at the communications department of the International Trade Centre.
Ivan has a BA in Political Science and Economics from McGill University and a MA in International Political Economy from King’s College London. Ivan is a native English speaker, is fluent in Spanish, and has a working level of French and Catalan.
