Axel Wion is a Senior Consultant for VVA Economics & Policy.

Since he joined the company, Axel has been involved in a quite diversified variety of projects and activities for clients such as the European Commission, the European Space Agency, other international organisations and private sector companies. Axel’s involvements range from market assessments, cost-benefit analyses, modelling, support to business development, proposal writing, and information gathering through desk search, expert interviews and workshops organisation.

He has developed key expertise in the GNSS markets of Road and Security and has a keen interest in Earth Observation and new technologies.

Axel has the French nationality, French as mother tongue and is fluent in English. He graduated from the IAE Poitiers in France and holds a Double Degree Master in Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Communications, in partnership with ILERI, Paris.

In his free time, Axel likes skiing, trekking, and reading.
