Consequences of sustainability policies on employment & skills in the Machine-tool & Robotics sector

VVA, together with TNO Innovation for life, will conduct a study to anticipate the consequences of environmental sustainability policies on employment and skills in the Machine-tool and Robotics sector. The study was commissioned by a consortium including industriAll Europe, CECIMO, EU-nited, and Ceemet, in the context of a DG Employment grant under the heading “Social Dialogue”. The study will feed into the social dialogue in the Machine-tool & Robotics sector through collecting and analysing data on likely consequences of environmental sustainability policies. The study will involve desk research, interviews with stakeholders as well as the organisation of workshops with policy experts, and also industry- and workers representatives.
